Europe of Europeans for Europeans!

Lords of Chaos

“Europe of Europeans for Europeans!” is a slogan expressing the political and cultural program set out for Napalm Rock: a pagan, nationalist European empire, oriented toward European identity and away from nationalisms defined separately as French, Italian, or German. The phrase condenses that program into a declaration of who Europe is for, while the magazine’s other aims make clear how it hoped to advance it among young people and music audiences.

Political Program

Napalm Rock was published under the auspices of Nouvelle Résistance, a National-Bolshevist political group that used the magazine to reach the cutting edge of European youth culture and steer it in a radical nationalist direction. In this context, the slogan is not simply a general appeal to continental cooperation. It belongs to an explicitly nationalist project that names a desired European political order and defines its constituency as Europeans.

The magazine’s stated first goal was the creation of a pagan and nationalist European empire. Its program identified the group as Revolutionary Nationalists, primarily Third Way, and as pagans, mainly Druidic and Celtic. The slogan concludes that statement of purpose, giving its political ambition a compact, emphatic form.

Music and Audience

The magazine also sought to broaden the kinds of music recognized as nationalist. It aimed to persuade French nationalist youth, movements, and skinheads that nationalist music was not confined to Oi and Rock Against Communism. Black Metal, Death Metal, Industrial, and Hardcore were presented as part of the same political and pagan cultural field. The slogan’s vision of Europe therefore had a cultural dimension: the magazine wanted to redirect existing youth-music audiences toward its nationalist project.

Its appeal to young metal fans also prescribed what they should support and reject. Napalm Rock urged them to back only bands it considered pagan or nationalist and framed that choice as resistance to politically correct rock media. The platform coupled pride in European culture and traditions with rejection of Rap, Raï, and music it classified as Arabian, Black, or Jewish. In that setting, the slogan’s declaration of European belonging sits alongside a program that draws sharp boundaries around cultural inclusion.
